FAB BAG - March 2016 Review

This is going to be a review of my March - FAB BAG.

This month they’ve sent a shimmery silver pouch with total six products inside it. Like last month, no choice option was given through email so everything was a surprise.

This is in shade ‘Big Bang Berry’ which is a dark berry shade with matte finish. The packaging is brilliant and quite unique as you can see in the pictures. There is proper locking mechanism while you twist the bullet up and down.

The staying power is decent but not too sure whether this shade would go with all skin tones as it’s too dark to wear. It costs INR 599 for 3.5 gm of product.

Wella Professionals – Elements Renewing Mask and Shampoo

This is a hair mask to renew the beauty and strength of your hair. The fragrance is so refreshing and amazing that you’ll love to smell your hair after using it. You should massage it into your hair (don’t waste it by applying on your scalp) and leave it for 5-10 minutes then rinse it thoroughly .It costs INR 200 for 30 ml.

The other one is a sulphate free shampoo to renew the moisture and preserve the strength of the hair. Like the Renewing mask, this shampoo also smells great and makes your hair really soft and smooth. It costs INR 175 for 30 ml.

Both the above products are samples but sufficient to try out and get the desired results. Wella Professionals is a well-known brand, so do not hesitate to try these products.

Ayorma – Daily Scrub and Ayorma – Facewash

These are the tiniest pack of samples I’ve ever seen. These just seem to be for one or two time use only. First one is fairness daily face scrub crafted from spa oils. The packaging says: “For a spa like experience at your home”. It costs INR 45 for 8 ml of product.

The other one is fairness and anti-tan face wash which is again made up of spa oils. It has a very strong herbal kind of fragrance. It costs INR 28 for 8ml of product. As I’ve told you these are very small samples so you can carry them even in the smallest of your purses or pouch.

All the above products claim to be Parabens free. For those who don't know, Parabens are used as preservatives in the cosmetic products. But unfortunately, they are said to have many side effects to our skin and health. 

Divo – Eyelash Curler

This is something which every makeup lover already has and no one would like to have variety in such kind of products unless they often tend to lose things from their vanity. Its a usual eyelash curler with silicone rubber pad. So this is again a not so useful product from the bag and costs INR 125.

This was it in the March’s Fab bag. Not too impressive and they could have surely done a better job with the choice of products. Hope to get a better bunch of products in the April Fab Bag.

This is a full size matte lip crayon in the shade ‘Duchess’. This is a very bold and deep berry colour. The application is smooth and unlike other matte lipsticks, it won’t dry out your lips. It lasted for about 3-4 hours, which is great. It is 2.5gm of product for INR 1000.

SeaSoul – Body Massage Candle

This is a massage candle having Dead Sea minerals and vitamins to soften your skin. Now you must be thinking that how is it possible for a candle to affect your skin? Actually you need to light this candle and pour the melted oil on to the skin and continue massaging. The box says that spatula is provided but it’s not present anywhere. It is a full size product which costs INR 300 for 50 ml. This product is too luxurious to use and I think it would not be of too much use to most of the people.

Ayorma – Night Cream

This is fairness and cell renews night cream by Ayorma. Is has very soft and smooth texture, the quantity is not much but just about enough to try out and get the results. It costs INR 195 for 15 gm.

Just Herbs – Lip Balm

This is a pot lip balm of flavour ‘Coorgi Coffee’. This is an amazing lip balm with the true smell of coffee and also keeps my lips moisturised for a long time. Its best time to it use at night before you go to sleep. It costs INR 345 for 8gm.

Chamki – Nail Enamel

This is nail enamel in a very nice metallic pink shade. The name of the brand is ‘chamki’ which means glittery but the nail paint is not at all glittery, in fact it is a quite decent shade which would go with any dress or occasion.

So guys, this was all in my February FAB BAG. We apologize for such a late review and we know that February’s bag is no more available but still just wanted to share the details about all the products so that you can use this review before buying them.

MSM Box February 2016

Welcome to Beautyshaala!

Today we are going to share a review of MSM Express Box for the Month of Love…February :)

This is one of the subscriptions which comes in a box and MSM Express always comes in a beautiful pink box. There are total 6 products in this month and one out of six is a bonus product which you get every time you book multiple subscriptions (3/6/12 months).

Let’s move on to have a look on each product:

Inatur – Daily Care Shampoo: 

This is a herbal brand and claims it is 100% vegan. The shampoo is for all hair types and can be used for daily purpose. It costs INR 110 for 110 ml. So if your planning to change your shampoo and want to experiment with something new, this could be a good option as it not that expensive.

Biobloom – Lip balm

This is a pot lip balm by Biobloom. It has a very strong minty fragrance and is really moisturizing.The quantity is 8 gm and costs INR 115. It is a refreshing lip balm and you can easily use it at night before sleep to keep your lips moisturized.

Essence - Lip Liner

This lips liner is in the shade ‘cute pink’. It is really smooth to apply on the lips. It will go with almost all shades of pink lipsticks so quite useful if you want to have defined and well-shaped lips. It costs INR 125 for 1 gm.

Page 3 -  Fat Lip Pencil

This looks like a lip crayon in shade ‘skinny’ which is a light pink shade with blue undertones. It’s a retractable lip crayon so you don’t need to sharpen it every time before use. The description says: “One swipe and you’re done! Apply it on lips, or cheeks or even your eyelid”, so it seems like a multipurpose crayon. The quantity is not mentioned anywhere, but the price specified is INR 450.

Kronokare -  Hair Conditioner

This is a small bottle of 6 ml hair conditioner which says: “Hydrate and Untangle”, which means it softens and untangles hair which basically is the job of every hair conditioner. Although Kronokare is a relatively new brand but their hair care products are really good to use, so this product is really a bonus. It contains natural extracts of orange, Bergamot & grapefruit and smells delicious. It costs INR 115 for this quantity of product.

Printed Scarf

This time they have sent a beautiful multi colored scarf, which is perfect for summers. It is a full length scarf with beautiful floral prints on it but sadly as you can see in the picture, the edges of the scarf are not finished. It costs INR 800, which is too much for a cotton scarf.

Overall, the Feb MSM Box was pretty good and all the products were useful. We hope you like this review and do let us know what have you received in your MSM Express Box.
